| Phiki is a Gopher-based wiki. Where as Gopherpedia is a mirror of |
| Wikipedia in Gopherspace, Phiki is an experiment in creating a wiki |
| primarily for use over Gopher. |
|
|
| Due to the lack of forms for user submitted content, Phiki also uses the |
| FTP protocol. Users contribute to Phiki by uploading articles via FTP. |
| Articles may then be updated or deleted by users as well. |
|
|
| Phiki also keeps a history of all changes to an article, and previous |
| versions of an article can be viewed at any time. |

| Articles on Phiki are plain text documents, but may also be viewed as a |
| "gophermap", allowing for Gopher items to be linked in an article. |
