| why im using sea Monkey over Firefox |

| alot of the older firefox addons still work with sea monkey and its |
| sort of a all in one web browser with a built in email client also |
| i can install addons like chatzilla and overbiteFF i can do every |
| thing i need to do right from my web browser |

| I prefer email/chat to be it's own client, but gopher and the |
| Web are similar enough that I like having them together via |
| OverbiteFF. Currently I'm just using a pre-WebExtension version of |
| FF but I might check out Seamonkey as a replacement. |

| Yeah, I'm using SeaMonkey on Windows 7 right now with the OverbiteFF |
| exten. I want to get SeaMonkey on Linux Mint 18.3 (Firefox is the |
| default browser), but I can't find the packages but at least you |
| can get Lynx for it. |

| I reccomend SeaMonkey over FireFox if you want a graphical interface |
| for gopher because OverbiteFF provides a true compatibility for |
| gopher, unlike Firefox in which the OverbiteWX extension sends |
| gopher links over Floodgap's proxy instead. |

| But for text-based browsers I choose Lynx because it can connect |
| to both HTTP and gopher, and it's easy to install on Linux and |
| Cygwin. I also have Lynx on Windows as a CMD executable application. |
